The municipality of Saint-Martin-d'Uriage has inaugurated a new refrigerated storage space and a vegetable washing area at the ferme du Loutas, thereby improving the preservation and hygiene of local market garden produce intended for short supply chains.

These new facilities allow for the storage and cleaning of the farm's market garden production under optimal conditions, thus promoting short supply chains.
The project received co-financing from the European Union under the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, and the Department of Isère. A contribution fund from the Communauté de communes Le Grésivaudan also supported this initiative.
