The municipality of Saint-Martin d’Uriage has launched 8 permanent consultative committees to encourage citizen participation and gather residents' ideas on municipal projects. Applications are open until November 15th.

The commune of Saint-Martin d’Uriage is inviting its residents to get involved in local life by joining 8 new permanent consultative committees. These bodies aim to foster dialogue between residents, professionals, and elected officials on the municipality's major issues.
The committees cover various themes: Environment, biodiversity, and transitions; Mobility; Urban planning; Heritage and living environment; Culture, sport, community, and civic life; Education, youth, and health; Public services, information, and communication; and Economic development, tourism, and territorial cooperation. Some committees are already full.
Joining a committee allows participation in discussions on municipal projects, contributing expertise and experience, proposing ideas, and engaging with elected officials and other residents. These committees have an advisory role, offering opinions without decision-making power.
Any person aged 18 or over, residing in or working in Saint-Martin d’Uriage, can apply. It is possible to apply for multiple committees, subject to availability, by indicating a priority choice.
Applications can be submitted online via the dedicated form or at the town hall using a paper form. The supplementary campaign closes on Sunday, November 15th.
