The municipality of La Verpillière and the Syndicat Mixte Nord Dauphiné (SMND) are launching a joint campaign to combat abandoned waste and preserve the local environment.

In response to illegal dumping that degrades the living environment, the municipality and the SMND are joining forces. This initiative aims to raise citizens' awareness of good daily practices for a cleaner environment.
Through a Plan to Combat Abandoned Waste, the SMND and 22 municipalities in the region are implementing various actions: communication campaigns, local events, clean-up days, and signage. The goal is to prevent dumping and sustainably change behaviors.
Adopting good practices, such as sorting waste, using recycling centers and second-hand shops, and not leaving anything on the ground, has a significant collective impact. Failure to comply with these rules can result in financial penalties.

The cleanliness of our territory concerns everyone.

Local authorities and citizens share the responsibility of maintaining a cleaner and more pleasant territory to live in.
