The La Côte-Saint-André Agricultural High School, a public institution for agricultural education, is marking its 60th anniversary. This event commemorates six decades of knowledge transfer and strong ties to the local area.
Established in its current form in 1966, the school invites former and current students, apprentices, teachers, families, partners, and all residents to join the celebration. The program includes a producers' market, concerts, a parade of illuminated tractors, and a dance party.
Starting at 4 PM, a market featuring about twenty stands from local producers and merchants will open. The evening's events will kick off at 5 PM with Nicolas Rousset, a farmer from Vernioz, followed by a concert from the Municipal Music School at 6 PM.
At 8 PM, the Young Farmers of Isère will organize a parade of approximately 20 illuminated tractors. Music will continue with a concert by DJ Matafan at 9 PM, followed by a dance party with DJ Eymeric Paire, a former student of the school, from 10 PM to 11:30 PM.
Throughout the evening, activities such as a quiz, a photo booth, and an exhibition of old photographs will be offered. Refreshments and food will also be available on-site.
The event will take place on Friday, October 2nd, 2026, from 4 PM to 11:30 PM, at the Agricultural High School, located at 57 avenue Charles de Gaulle. Admission is free and open to everyone.
Due to the parade, traffic will be prohibited from 7:45 PM to 9:45 PM along the parade route. Parking will also be restricted from 4 PM to 2 AM on Chemin du Pré de la Chère up to the Europe parking lot, and from 6:30 PM to 2 AM between Aqualib' and Avenue Maréchal Joffre.
