The municipality of La Balme-les-Grottes successfully concluded its October Pink campaign, donating over €5,000 to the Isère Cancer League.

The October Pink month was a great success in La Balme-les-Grottes, culminating in the presentation of a check for €5,015.92 to the Isère Cancer League. This solidarity event mobilized numerous residents and local partners.
The main event on October 18th brought together 350 participants (runners, walkers) who also supported the cause through sales stands run by associations and professionals. A bicycle installed in the town hall lobby was used extensively by the residents of La Balme-les-Grottes.
The check was presented by Gaëlle Torres, deputy in charge of social affairs, and Michèle Bonnin, mayor, to François Berger, president of the Isère Cancer League. The delegation from Crémieu and supporters of the event were also present.

"We would like to warmly thank all the people who contributed to making this month a success: the members of the municipal council and the social commission; Élodie Bellonville, from Cap Fitness in Montalieu, for organizing the races; the volunteers of USSAR 38, who ensured the safety of the routes; as well as the Cancer League. A big thank you to our partners and sponsors: Terre de Running in Ambérieu, Amandine and Anthony, from Safti Immobilier in Porcieu, Leclerc Tignieu, and L'Échoppe de Travers. Thank you also to the town's associations – the festival committee, the retirees' club, Original Country, and Balmogym – as well as all the volunteers mobilized for the occasion."
