Throughout October, the Centre Hospitalier Alpes-Isère participated in the Mental Health Awareness Weeks, with the national theme "For our mental health, let's open up to the arts." The hospital's Maison des Usagers organized several events to explore the connection between mental health and artistic expression.
Drawings created by care recipients were exhibited within the hospital, highlighting their creativity. A painting workshop, led by Sandrine Rouillé, an advanced practice nurse, allowed participants to express their imagination. A Graffiti animation, presented by Samuel Royer, a hospital orderly, offered the public the chance to observe a work being created live.
Stands from partner associations were also present to provide information on available local resources and facilitate exchanges between professionals, care recipients, and caregivers. Additionally, new "little free libraries" were installed to promote access to culture and sharing.
The institution thanks all those who contributed to the success of these events, emphasizing that their motivation and creativity made these weeks moments of sharing and discovery.
