The Les Arts en herbe festival begins its 18th edition in Saint-Étienne de Saint-Geoirs with an original and poetic opening evening. The event, organized by Bièvre Isère Communauté, will start on Friday, October 9th at 6:30 PM in the Salle des Spectacles, Rose Valland square.
Aimed at children aged 4 and up, the 50-minute performance is titled Prélude pour un poisson rouge (Prelude for a Goldfish), presented by the Compagnie Sans Gravité. It combines juggling, new magic, poetry, and cello.
On stage, an eccentric character takes the audience on an epic journey, blending a cello-boat, balls with bows, electric percussion, and magical moments. It's an offbeat, musical, and visual universe, gradually drawing viewers into a quest as absurd as it is moving.
This evening marks the launch of the 18th edition of Les Arts en herbe, which will run from October 9th to 25th, 2026, across the Bièvre Isère territory, offering numerous shows for young audiences.
The full program and ticketing information are available on the Bièvre Isère Communauté website.
