The Village 2 Santé in Échirolles is celebrating its tenth anniversary this weekend, marking a decade of successful integration into the neighborhood and service expansion.

Ten years after moving into its new premises on September 1, 2018, the Village 2 Santé celebrated its anniversary. This milestone represents the culmination of an adventure initiated months earlier by the center's team.
During the initial setup, a pebble writing workshop was held, with messages like 'Long live Village 2 Santé' and 'May it last for years,' wishes that have now been fulfilled.
Alexandre Bonnabel, a founding member, highlighted the time it took for the center to gain acceptance and become integrated: 'We have become a part of the neighborhood, something solid that can outlive us.' He recalled the process of unlearning and relearning with the residents to establish a strong presence.
Habib, a local resident and user of the center since its inception, shared how it was a blessing, particularly in helping him quit smoking. He described the center as a place 'where we like each other, where we are well received,' and hopes for its continued operation.
Dr. Jessica Guibert, another founding member, pointed to significant positive developments: an increase from 10 to 12 doctors, an additional floor, and growing participation in collective workshops. She expressed a desire for this health center model to be replicated across France.
