A new carpooling service, HéLéman by BlaBlaCar Daily, was launched on September 30, 2026, to facilitate travel between Thonon-les-Bains and Veigy-Foncenex.

The service, developed by the Metropolitan Pole of French Geneva in partnership with Thonon Agglomération, serves the towns of Anthy-sur-Léman, Sciez, Massongy, and Douvaine. It aims to provide a simple, flexible, and accessible mobility solution, contributing to the reduction of traffic jams and pollution.
The system is intuitive: users go to a designated stop, scan a QR code via the BlaBlaCar Daily app to get an e-ticket. Drivers on the route receive an alert and pick up passengers as they pass the stop. The journey is then validated directly in the app.
Drivers receive an allowance ranging from €1.50 to €2.50 depending on the distance traveled, while the ride is free for passengers. This initiative complements existing mobility solutions for daily commutes.
