The City of La Roche-sur-Foron is launching an unprecedented initiative with the opening of its first pop-up store in the city center, on Rue du Silence. This program aims to support entrepreneurs in launching their businesses by offering them a commercial space for a limited time.
This new concept allows project leaders to test their ideas, gain visibility, and establish direct contact with their customers. The space is provided at a preferential rate, thus reducing the often high initial costs of renting a commercial area. The objective is twofold: to foster the emergence of new businesses and to enrich the diversity of local commercial offerings.
Following a call for projects, the application from Laurine Nayagon, founder of La Licorne à Paillettes, was selected by a jury. The brand offers creative leisure workshops for children and adults, including calligraphy initiation, jewelry making, painting, and decoration creation.
The store La Licorne à Paillettes will open its doors on Monday, October 12, 2026, at 78 Rue du Silence. An open house event is also scheduled for Friday, October 16, starting at 5 PM, to discover the brand's universe and its activities.
