Since July 2025, Syane has been benefiting from the European Local ENergy Assistance (ELENA) program, a European subsidy aimed at strengthening support for local authorities in Haute-Savoie with their energy transition projects.

Thanks to this funding, Syane is intensifying its actions in the energy renovation of public buildings, the modernization of public lighting, and the development of renewable energies in the region. A concrete example is the renovation of the school in Mont-Saxonnex, which aims for an 87% energy saving, representing an investment of 2.96 million euros so far.
The ELENA program also enables Syane to support the emergence of photovoltaic projects, with several feasibility studies underway for public buildings and parking lots across the department. These additional resources aim to foster and accelerate the energy transition projects of Haute-Savoie's local authorities.
This action benefits from ELENA funding under the European Union's InvestEU advisory platform. The content of this page is the sole responsibility of its author and does not necessarily represent the opinion of the European Union.
