On Monday, October 12th, young students from the municipality mobilized to elect their representatives for the Youth Municipal Council (CMJ). A total of 12 young elected officials were chosen to represent the different school groups.
At the Groupe scolaire Tuilerie, Méline LUGBULL and Pablo COSENZA were elected for the CM1 class, while Nadi-Lina TANTY LOKONGA and Eloi THEVARD will represent the CM2 students.
For the Groupe scolaire Grenette, Charlotte ROUGNY and Ewann MOUNIER OUBRERIE were elected in CM1, and Manon VAILLANT DE GUELIS and Noah PREVOST in CM2.
Finally, at the Groupe scolaire La Pommeraie – Les Sapins, Camille BAUDOIN and Lucien LAVOREL will represent CM1, and Maïna BOCQUET and Elie SONNERAT will represent CM2.
The Youth Municipal Council is presented as a tool for participatory democracy. For two years, these young elected officials will be involved in the community's deliberations and will champion projects close to their hearts, focusing on leisure, environment, and solidarity, thereby enriching municipal decisions.
In early November, the CMJ members will convene to elect their Mayor, a ceremony that will officially mark the launch of their mandate.
The municipality warmly congratulated all candidates and thanked the young voters for their participation.
