The school in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc now features new colorful frescoes, created by graffiti artist LAEC/Laetitia Cefali, as part of a project to enhance the students' living environment.

An extensive project to create frescoes, depicting animals such as a squirrel, fox, robin, butterflies, a marmot, and a little girl holding an open book, has been carried out on the school walls by graffiti artist LAEC/Laetitia Cefali.
This original project fully involved teachers and students. Its multiple objectives include collective participation in a large-scale cultural project, bringing color to the school for an improved living environment, introducing children to graffiti as a true street art, and initiating work on the theme of animals, chosen for this initiative, with all students from kindergarten to CM2.
These frescoes are located in a newly greened courtyard, equipped with large areas of wood chips and new play structures, which have been immediately adopted by the young students. Trees, planted last autumn, will further enhance the area.
This project was funded by the municipality of Chamonix, with participation from the Departmental Council of Haute Savoie.
