Grand Annecy is renewing the members of its Espace Citoyen for the 2026-2029 period. Open to all residents, this initiative allows individuals to share their ideas and experience to take part in discussions on the major issues facing the agglomeration.
The Espace Citoyen, an independent body required by law for intercommunalities with over 50,000 inhabitants, brings together about a hundred volunteers with diverse backgrounds. They contribute their user experience and knowledge of the territory to the reflections conducted by the agglomeration, bridging the gap between daily realities and public policies.
Depending on their interests and availability, members can join a working group, participate in a workshop, or contribute to discussions on various local life topics such as mobility, urban planning, environment, economy, tourism, agriculture, water, or waste management. Their contributions help identify needs, share usage patterns, question certain directions, or propose areas for improvement.
Applications are accepted year-round. Members can join and leave as needed, with flexible commitment (2 hours per week or 2 hours per month). Motivation and attentiveness are the only requirements, with no need to be an expert. Participants' lived experiences are considered a great asset for building the future of Grand Annecy on important subjects like water, mobility, urban planning, climate, food, the role of young and old people, economy, and tourism.
Interested individuals can now apply by attending an information meeting, submitting their application online, or leaving their contact details via a QR Code to be contacted. All practical information is available on the website: https://espacecitoyen.grandannecy.fr/
