The Annecy Festival Residence 2026 has welcomed its new laureates, who will spend three months in the city developing their feature animation film projects. This period is dedicated to creation, experimentation, and exchange among artists.
Armin Rangani and Raha Amirfazli, from Iran, are working on their project All the Heaven's Doors. They are guided by graphic mentor Isabel Herguera.
Matisse Gonzalez, from France/Germany, is developing his project Condenaditos with the support of graphic mentor Aurel.
Finally, Gustavo Almenara, from France, benefits from the expertise of graphic mentor Amélie Harrault for his film Todo viene del agua.
These three months in Annecy offer the laureates a valuable time to explore, experiment, and evolve their films through encounters and exchanges. The first sessions with their mentors have already taken place this week, marking the beginning of a creative journey that the festival will follow with great interest.
