Over 250 representatives from Haute-Loire communities met on October 1st in Espaly-Saint-Marcel for the CDG43 Encounters, a day dedicated to current territorial challenges.

The first edition of the CDG43 Encounters was a great success, bringing together over 250 participants on October 1st at the Halle des Orgues in Espaly-Saint-Marcel. Elected officials, Directors General of Services, municipal secretaries-general, HR managers, and community agents were present to discuss current territorial issues.
The afternoon featured three thematic conferences. The first explored the use of artificial intelligence in business software, presenting its developments and perspectives. The second conference focused on absenteeism in local authorities, offering levers to mitigate its consequences. Finally, a third round table addressed the role of the employer-elected official, highlighting management and human resources challenges through concrete situations.
To illustrate issues related to the role of the employer-elected official, the troupe Comédiens Associés performed three humorous and realistic skits, fostering audience interaction on management and professional relationships.
Beyond the conferences, participants had the opportunity to learn about the teams, missions, and services of the CDG43 through dedicated stands. This proximity aimed to help each community identify the right contact person and the support offered.
The day concluded with a convivial gathering, allowing for further exchanges in a more informal setting. This successful first edition helped strengthen the ties between the CDG43 and the communities it supports.
