Throughout 2026, the Communauté de Communes Marches du Velay Rochebaron is offering a parenting workshop program titled 'Living Parenthood Together'. These activities aim to provide parents with spaces for listening, sharing, and support in the face of current educational challenges, such as digital technology, lifestyle rhythms, and communication.
This program is part of a collective initiative, carried out in partnership with early childhood, childhood, and youth structures, as well as institutional actors like CAF and PMI, and local associations. The goal is to facilitate families' access to clear and accessible activities, reach all families, including those distant from services, support parents at different stages of their lives, enhance existing actions, and foster the exchange of experiences. All activities are free.
The program includes parent-child workshops for ages 0 to 6, focusing on development, motor skills, and emotions, led by professionals. Dates are scheduled in Monistrol-sur-Loire (October 5 and 14, 2026), Bas-en-Basset (November 18, 2026), and Saint-Pal-de-Chalencon (December 2, 2026).
A participatory investigative theater performance, 'Ma [non] violence ordinaire' by Erika Leclerc Marceau, is also scheduled for Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 7:30 PM at the Salle de la Dorlière in Beauzac. This solo performance addresses anger and communication within the family, with the participation of family mediators from 'justice et partage'.
Specific '100% parents' workshops are offered, covering themes such as 'My child and nutrition', with an exchange evening already held on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, in Monistrol-sur-Loire, led by speech therapists. Digital technology and family life will also be addressed with a digital advisor.
The Relais Petite Enfance Les 6 Loupiots en Marche is hosting a new cycle of the 'Nobody's Perfect' program, aimed at parents of children from birth to 5 years old. This program offers a supportive environment for sharing experiences and reflections. Sessions will take place on Mondays November 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Relais Petite Enfance Les 6 Loupiots en Marche.
