The Drôme Department secured three distinctions at the 2026 Territoria Awards: a gold, a silver, and a bronze prize. These accolades celebrate innovative initiatives by local authorities serving residents and territories.
These projects highlight the commitment of the departmental teams, the Department's capacity for innovation, and its dedication to supporting the municipalities of Drôme.
The Departmental Council of Youth (CDJ) received the Gold Territoria in the 'Environmental Issues' category for Mal’eau, a board game focused on water management in the face of climate change. The game, available physically and for download, transforms this major environmental challenge into a collective experience.
The Department was awarded the Silver Territoria in the 'Governance' category for its public engineering website, collectivites.ladrome.fr. This platform aims to simplify the daily work of elected officials and territorial agents, particularly in small municipalities, by consolidating resources and expertise.
Finally, the Bronze Territoria in the 'Communication' category recognizes the Department's staff New Year's ceremony. This initiative highlighted the 2,700 employees through a video clip and an 'awards' ceremony inspired by the Oscars.
These awards acknowledge the work of the departmental teams and the commitment of the young CDJ members, demonstrating the Department's ability to devise concrete solutions for the needs of Drôme residents and its municipalities. The official award ceremony will take place on Tuesday, November 10, at the National Assembly in Paris.
