These events, named "Point Accueil Transmission" (Transmission Welcome Point), aim to support agricultural operators in anticipating their retirement, whether planned in two, five, or ten years. The stakes of this key step are multiple, covering legal, human, financial, land, and technical aspects.
The public service, funded by the State and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, offers tailor-made, neutral, and confidential support. Interested farmers can benefit from a personalized interview with a specialized advisor from the Chamber of Agriculture.
The meetings will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The first will take place on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, in Buis-les-Baronnies, at the CCBDP office, located at 19 boulevard Aristide Briand. The second is scheduled for Wednesday, November 25, 2026, in Nyons, at the Chamber of Agriculture, 2 avenue de Venterol.
During these discussions, advisors will cover the steps to take to organize the transmission, identify relevant contacts, and present available aid and support schemes.
Appointment booking is mandatory. To do so, farmers can contact Julie Poisson, transmission advisor at the Drôme Chamber of Agriculture, at 06 70 82 90 44, or Sarah Aramis, economic development mission manager at the CCBDP, at 06 45 34 09 55.
This initiative is part of a comprehensive support approach for farmers, aiming to promote a serene and sustainable transmission of farms in the territory.
