Extensive roadworks are underway on the RN532 near the commune of Saint-Marcel-Les-Valence in the Drôme. These operations, which began in February 2026, are scheduled to continue until December 2026. The completion of shoulder work in the Grenoble/Valence direction is expected by early October, marking the start of interventions in the opposite direction, Valence/Grenoble.
Several nights of closure on the RN532 are planned to allow for changes in signage, relocation of traffic signs, and safety barriers. These night closures will affect the Valence/Grenoble direction between interchange n°35 (Carrefour des Couleures) and interchange n°4 (TGV station of Alixan), from 8 PM to 6 AM, on October 5th and 6th, as well as October 6th and 7th, 2026. In case of technical or weather-related issues, these closures may be postponed to the following two nights.
A diversion will be implemented for users coming from Valence-sud via the N7. They will need to exit at interchange n°35 (Carrefour des Couleures) to reach interchange n°4, passing through Saint-Marcel-Les-Valence. Users coming from Bourg-Les-Valence (N7) will also need to use the Carrefour des Couleures to access interchange n°4.
Furthermore, the Grenoble/Valence direction of the RN532 will be closed during the nights of October 7th to 8th and October 8th to 9th, 2026, from 8 PM to 6 AM, between interchange n°4 (TGV station of Alixan) and interchange n°35 (Carrefour des Couleures). The same postponement conditions apply in case of unforeseen circumstances, with possible dates on October 12th and 13th, 2026.
Users traveling in this direction will need to exit at interchange n°4 (TGV station of Alixan) to reach interchange n°35 (Carrefour des Couleures), passing through the village of Saint-Marcel-Les-Valence.
