The competition, organized by Badminton Muratais, saw players of various levels, from unranked to R4, compete. Participants came from Cantal, Puy-de-Dôme, Lozère, and Haute-Loire. The day was marked by excellent rallies and great sportsmanship.
Three local club players particularly shone, securing first place in their respective series: Eva Fulchic won in Series 2, while Anaïs Leseur and Virginie Perez took victory in Series 3.
Affiliated with the French Badminton Federation for four years, Badminton Muratais actively promotes the sport in Murat. Following the organization of departmental interclubs, the creation of this tournament signifies a new dynamic for local sports.
The club invites everyone to attend the next departmental interclubs on Sunday, January 31, at the gymnasium to support the Murat players.
