The Art Explora foundation and the Musée d’Orsay are partnering to launch MuM'Orsay, a traveling cultural truck, which will stop in Murat from November 10 to 14. The initiative aims to bring artworks and cultural mediation closer to residents.

MuM'Orsay, an innovative cultural truck, has been launched by the Art Explora foundation in partnership with the Musée d’Orsay. This traveling vehicle is designed to present original artworks and offer diverse cultural experiences, including exhibitions, mediation, and artistic workshops, closer to local populations.
For its inaugural tour, MuM'Orsay celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Musée d’Orsay with a thematic exhibition on 19th-century festivals and balls. Curated by Édouard Papet and Estelle Bégué, the exhibition brings together major works from the museum's collections, covering various techniques such as painting, sculpture, drawing, photography, and film. It explores the numerous occasions for social gathering in the 19th century, from balls to official receptions, capturing the movement and energy of the era.
The stop in Murat is scheduled from November 10 to 14 at the parking lot of the Croix-Jolie gymnasium. The truck will be accessible primarily to school groups from the town, but also open to the general public.

The visit lasts 1h30 - Limited places in the truck - No reservation

Opening hours for the public are set for Wednesday, November 11, from 5 PM to 6 PM, and Saturday, November 14, from 2 PM to 6 PM. The visit duration is estimated at 1.5 hours, with limited places available in the truck and no reservation required.
