The Department of Ardèche has initiated the construction of a House for Interns in Meysse, an innovative project designed to boost the territory's medical attractiveness. This initiative, scheduled for completion in 2028, is part of the Regional Pact for Ardèche 2024-2027.
This new facility will provide suitable accommodation for interns on placement, junior doctors, and substitute healthcare professionals. The goal is to help them discover the region under the best conditions and, ultimately, encourage their long-term settlement, thereby contributing to the fight against medical desertification.
The House for Interns will also feature a space dedicated to training, simulation, and professional exchanges. This modular space will be available to various stakeholders in the medico-social and healthcare sectors. Emphasis will be placed on innovative educational methods, particularly e-health and digital simulation.
This project represents an investment of nearly €1.6 million excluding tax for the construction of a 482 m² building. It involves numerous local companies and demonstrates the commitment of the Department and the Region to improving access to care, supporting local employment, and enhancing the territory's appeal.
The list of professionals involved in the design and execution of the project has been made public. The Project Owner (MOA) is Renaud TESTUD, Director of Buildings, assisted by Laurence GRAVIER, Head of the Administrative and Financial Department of Buildings, and Delphine BOURGEAC, Administrative and Financial Operations Officer.

Technical control is handled by ALPES CONTROLES and CSPS by QUALICONSULT SECURITE.
