Last spring, the Moulins-Yzeure Hospital Center was evaluated by expert visitors from the High Authority of Health (HAS) as part of an independent national procedure to assess the quality and safety of patient care.
The HAS has announced its decision: the facility has obtained certification with the distinction "High Quality of Care," the highest award granted. This recognition is valid for a period of four years.
This distinction is based on excellent results across all evaluated chapters of the framework: 93% for "The Patient," 99% for "Care Teams," and 95% for "The Facility."
The experts particularly highlighted the quality of team coordination, mastery of the medication circuit, care for psychiatric patients, development of therapeutic education, engagement of user representatives, and the facility's territorial positioning and numerous collaborations. Their recognized expertise in organ and tissue donation was also emphasized.
The 21 mandatory criteria of the framework achieved scores between 94% and 100%, confirming the high standard of professional practices and ensuring quality and safety.
This collective achievement celebrates the daily commitment of all hospital professionals. The institution thanks its patients for their trust and feedback, which are crucial for improving care pathways.
The Moulins-Yzeure Hospital Center will continue its efforts to consolidate its strengths and address identified areas for improvement, in a constant commitment to the quality and safety of care and the patient experience.
