The La Pléiade Cultural Space, recognized for its extensive collection of books, CDs, and DVDs, is expanding its offerings with numerous activities, particularly for young people, aiming to foster a love for words and stimulate children's imagination.
Several regular events are scheduled throughout the month. The 'Pixels and Pawns' activity, open to all ages, will explore the world of video games on Wednesday, October 7th at 2:30 PM, followed by board games on Wednesdays, October 21st and 28th at the same time. For the youngest (0-5 years), 'Little Ears' will offer a 30-minute story every Saturday at 11 AM.
Children aged 6 to 12 can participate in 'The Art of Storytelling', combining 30 minutes of stories with 30 minutes of manual activities. These sessions will take place on Wednesday, October 7th at 10:30 AM and 4 PM, and on Wednesday, October 14th at 4 PM, focusing on 'Twisted Tales'.
Teenagers and adults are invited to the 'Culture Café' on Saturday, October 10th at 10:30 AM, themed around 'thrillers'. This will be a moment for sharing and conviviality, discussing favorite books, music, films, and exhibitions.
The 'Teen Club', for ages 13 and up, will be held on Wednesday, October 14th at 4 PM. It's an opportunity to discover new arrivals at the media library and share favorite finds (books, music, cinema, etc.). Registration is required.
During the holidays, the 'Holiday Hour' activity is designed for children aged 5 to 12. It will include 30 minutes of stories and 30 minutes of activities on Wednesdays, October 20th and Thursday, October 22nd at 3 PM.
Finally, an introduction to Spanish for teenagers and adults is scheduled for Saturday, October 31st at 10:30 AM.
