The municipality of Trévoux is organizing an information meeting on November 4, 2026, at 7 PM at the Le Tournesol social center to discuss the continuation of the pedestrian and cycle path development on Chemin d'Arras.

The works to secure and create a continuous route for pedestrians and cyclists on Chemin d'Arras will begin on November 9, 2026. The first phase, to be completed before Christmas, will cover the section between Chemin des Corbettes and Rue Valentin Smith.
A second phase of works is planned for early 2027. It will concern the lower part of Chemin d'Arras, from Rue Valentin Smith to the cycle path on Allée de Fétan. These developments aim to create a safe and continuous route for soft modes of transport.
This new path, starting from the Rond-Point du Tournesol, will lead to Jean-Moulin college and will also serve the Lycée du Val de Saône and the Béluizon and Corbettes schools, thus providing a safe connection for schoolchildren.
