The future cinema of La Côtière, currently under construction at the Forum des Sports in Saint-Maurice-de-Beynost, is taking shape. The Communauté de Communes de Miribel et du Plateau (CCMP) is seeking input from residents and future users to choose its name and graphic identity.
This new inter-municipal facility will feature 5 screens and 810 seats. It will offer a diverse program, including major national releases, mainstream films, Art House cinema, and screenings for young audiences. The ambition extends beyond film screenings, with plans for previews, "ciné-goûters" (film and snack events), festivals, meetings, and media education initiatives.
The goal is to make this future cinema a true hub for culture, encounters, and sharing, accessible to all. Before its opening, a crucial step remains: giving a name and identity to this new facility.
