The City, which bought the establishment in 2018 to ensure its preservation, carried out a rehabilitation operation in partnership with Dynacité. This renovation, amounting to nearly 2 million euros including tax for the restaurant part, began in the second half of 2024.
The works included the renovation of the basement and ground floor to maintain the bar-restaurant activity, the development of 12 senior housing units on the upper floors, PMR accessibility, thermal renovation, and facade repair, while preserving its historical inscriptions.
