The Blue Week, taking place from October 5th to 11th, 2026 in Miribel, will honor the commune's seniors around the national theme 'Connecting all ages in committed territories'. The event, organized by the Communal Social Action Center (CCAS), promises a week full of activities, discoveries, and encounters.
The varied program includes activities such as chair choreography, walks, conferences, a digital café, well-being activities, a cinema screening, and prevention actions. These moments are designed to foster exchange and conviviality between generations.
Intergenerational connection is a priority in Miribel, as demonstrated by the regular meetings between residents of the Institut Joséphine Guillon and children from the Espace Petite Enfance. These shared moments of activity and conviviality exemplify the spirit of solidarity and transmission.
Among the highlights, on Monday, October 5th, a 2.5 km health walk will be offered at 10:30 AM at the Salle des fêtes du Mas Rillier, followed by road safety awareness at 2 PM at the Institut Joséphine Guillon. Chair choreography workshops will take place on October 5th, 6th, and 7th at 3 PM in the same hall.
On Wednesday, October 7th, a 'Memories at Snack Time' workshop is scheduled for 2:30 PM at CÉSAM, inviting families to stimulate their memories together. On Thursday, October 8th, a cinema screening will feature the film 'La Bonne Épouse' at 2 PM at Allegro for a fee of €2.
Finally, on Friday, October 9th, a participatory workshop for forgotten vegetable soup will be held at 9:30 AM on Place Jean Moulin. Registrations for these workshops and activities can be made with the CCAS of Miribel.
