Haut-Bugey Agglomération is launching a five-week educational challenge in ten primary schools across the territory, focusing on the collection and recycling of electrical and electronic equipment.

The initiative, carried out in partnership with the association EnJeux Durables, invites students to collect used small and medium-sized electrical or electronic devices. This challenge aims to raise awareness among younger generations about sustainable development issues.
Beyond collection, students will benefit from dedicated educational activities. They will be encouraged to apply the principles of the 5Rs: Reduce, Reuse, Repair, Recycle, and Refuse. The goal is to promote more responsible consumption and better waste management.
The school that achieves the best score at the end of this challenge will win an educational school trip, rewarding the collective efforts.
The ten participating primary schools are: the Primary School of Brénod, the Primary School of Charix, the Primary School of Maillat, the Primary School of Montréal-la-Cluse, the Primary School of La Forge in Oyonnax, the Primary School Louis Armand in Oyonnax, the Primary School of Port, the School of Heyriat in Sonthonnax-la-Montagne, the Primary School Bernard Clavel – Marchon in Arbent, and the Elementary School of Plateau d’Hauteville.
