At 24 years old, Belley rider Clément Lores secured 3rd place in the 2026 French Hillclimb Motorcycle Championship in the 300cc category, a notable achievement for this enthusiast who prepares his own Honda CB500.

A motorcycle enthusiast since childhood, Clément Lores, who has always lived in Belley, discovered competition in 2025. After a first learning season, he achieved 3rd place in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes league championship in the 300cc category.
In 2026, for his second season, the rider from Belley reached a new level with several good results at circuits such as Chanaz, Panissières, Petit-Abergement, and Marlhes. Despite a crash during qualifying at Frangy, he was able to continue competing thanks to the support of the NJC Racing team.
The final event in Merléac, Brittany, was decisive. With a 14-point lead, Clément Lores ultimately beat his direct competitor by just 56 thousandths of a second in the second race, securing him 3rd place in the national championship.
This success rewards the work on his riding and his motorcycle, a 1997 Honda CB500 that he prepares himself. For the 2027 season, Clément Lores aims to win the French championship title, a project that will depend on his ability to find new partners.
