The Parents' House of the Centre Hospitalier Métropole Savoie (CHMS) is celebrating its fifth anniversary. This facility, located near the Sainte-Hélène building, provides a resting space for families of children hospitalized in neonatal intensive care.

To mark this occasion, teams, patrons, and partners gathered around a cake with five candles, blown out for the event, during a convivial moment in the presence of the main patron, Ms. Ute BERTHET.
In five years, the Parents' House has become an essential part of the CHMS's operations, with its occupancy rate steadily increasing. Its proximity allows parents to stay with their hospitalized baby, visit the unit more regularly, and participate more in their child's care. This presence fosters the parent-child bond and supports the development of newborns, helping families navigate this often difficult period.
For over five years, nearly 1.3 million euros in donations have been collected from about a hundred donors, including individuals, service clubs, partner companies, and foundations such as Pièces Jaunes and Apicil. This solidarity has enabled the project's realization and the evolution of the House over the years to improve family comfort, including the installation of air conditioning and new garden plantings.
Donation collection and management are handled by the Fond'Hôp team, the endowment fund of the CHMS. The hospital warmly thanks all patrons and donors for their generosity, which for five years has provided families with a place to rest and, most importantly, stay close to their hospitalized child.
