The RD 1006 in La Tour-en-Maurienne will be closed from Monday, September 28th, at 6 AM to Friday, October 2nd, at 8 PM for a crucial phase of work on the Ravoire bridge.

A major demolition and reconstruction operation for the Ravoire bridge, located on the RD 1006, is entering a new stage. This initial intervention will require a complete closure of the road between the Saint-Avre roundabout and the Hermillon interchange.
During this period, traffic will be entirely suspended. All vehicles, except bicycles, will be diverted via the A43 motorway. Passage will be free for light vehicles in classes 1, 2, and 5. The crossing of La Tour-en-Maurienne via the RD 77 will be prohibited for heavy goods vehicles due to a size limitation and is strongly discouraged for other motorists.
This project, launched in mid-July, aims to permanently secure traffic on this busy route by demolishing and rebuilding the bridge over the Ravoire stream. A second complete closure of the RD 1006 is planned for late October to carry out waterproofing and final road surface work.
The dates for this first operation may be shifted due to weather conditions. Users are advised to plan their journeys in advance and respect the established diversion routes.
