For the fifth consecutive year, the Citizens' Climate Club of Grand Chambéry is launching its season with 44 volunteer citizens committed to the territory's ecological and energy transition.

The first plenary session of this new season took place on October 13 in Barby, bringing members together with Jimmy Bâabâa, Vice-President of the Agglomeration in charge of ecological and energy transition. Among the participants, 21 new volunteers are joining the initiative this year.
This meeting provided an opportunity for members to get acquainted, share their motivations, and define the commitments expected for the coming year, within the framework of Grand Chambéry's Climate Air Energy Territorial Plan (PCAET).
The Citizens' Climate Club, part of the PCAET whose second phase was adopted at the end of 2025, aims to complement the community's actions through citizen initiatives and experiments. Members work in seven project groups: Carpooling, My Agglomeration Breathes, I Go by Bike, Little Creatures and Nature, Greening the Space, Sustainable Food, and Spreading Initiatives.
These groups explore various concrete actions for a more sustainable territory, covering areas such as mobility, renaturation, and sustainable food.
