The municipality of Vernaison, along with five other towns, organized the 5th edition of "Courir Pour Elles près de chez moi" at Stade du Merlo, raising €8,857.50 for the fight against cancer.

On September 27th, the City of Vernaison joined forces with five partner municipalities – Oullins-Pierre-Bénite, Charly, Saint-Genis-Laval, La Mulatière, and Sainte-Foy-Lès-Lyon – for the 5th edition of "Courir Pour Elles près de chez moi", held at the Stade du Merlo.
Thanks to the mobilization of over 500 participants in this solidarity walk-run, the sum of €8,857.50 was collected for the association Courir Pour Elles. These funds will be used to support women affected by cancer and promote health prevention.
Special congratulations go to the Vernaison team, which comprised more than 50 people.
