The municipality of Soucieu-en-Jarrest is offering three workshops in October focused on maintaining seniors' autonomy, combining physical, cognitive, and culinary activities in a friendly atmosphere.

Movement, reflection, and cooking to preserve autonomy! Three workshops are organized in Soucieu-en-Jarrest on October 1st, 8th, and 15th. These sessions aim to share tips and activities for maintaining daily independence while fostering convivial moments.
On Thursday, October 1st, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, a cognitive stimulation workshop will be led by a specialist. Games, puzzles, and practical advice will help work on memory and concentration.
On Thursday, October 8th, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, an adapted physical activity workshop, led by a specialized instructor, will offer simple and fun exercises to maintain strength, balance, and mobility.
Finally, on Thursday, October 15th, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, a cooking and technical aids workshop will allow participants to discover and test utensils that facilitate kitchen tasks. Participants will also prepare a recipe together to share a convivial meal, guided by an occupational therapist.
These workshops will take place at the Maison de la Petite Enfance, located at Impasse des Veloutiers in Soucieu-en-Jarrest.
Due to limited space, registration is mandatory to participate.
