Following four months of renovation work, the Services House in Saint-Symphorien-sur-Coise has unveiled its refurbished premises. This major restructuring has allowed for a reconfiguration of the reception area, separating it from waiting zones, improving accessibility for disabled individuals, ensuring visual and acoustic privacy during consultations, and creating a warmer environment for users.
This autumn, the Services House in Saint-Laurent-de-Chamousset will also undergo a redesign of its spaces, carried out by the technical services of the CCMDL.
France Services centers have become indispensable for assisting citizens with administrative procedures and digital literacy. In the Monts du Lyonnais region, the two Houses and the France Services Bus provide this support. This year, the three services have welcomed an average of over 1,500 people per month, representing a 30% increase compared to 2025.
The inauguration was attended by several dignitaries, including Jérôme Banino, mayor of Saint-Symphorien-sur-Coise, Nicolas Favrichon, vice-president responsible for Solidarities, Michel Sartoretti, deputy mayor for Tourism and Heritage, Didier Blanchard, vice-president responsible for Roadworks, Laure Dalmais, Deputy Director General of the population services and solidarity division, Régis Chambe, president of the CCMDL, Catherine Haller, sub-prefect for Rhône Sud, Laurence Perret, director of France Services, Jacqueline Jeanpierre, vice-president responsible for Human Resources, and Pierre Varliette, mayor of Saint-Laurent-de-Chamousset and vice-president responsible for Buildings and Heritage.
These renovations were supported by the Banque des territoires as part of the « Lieux Accueillants Lieux Innovants » program.
