As part of its responsibilities, the Garon Valley Community of Communes has contributed to the transformation of the Historic Ring district in Millery. Through its housing policy (PLH), it has supported the creation of 42 housing units, including 32 social rental units and 10 for social ownership via a solidarity land lease, by providing €373K in direct subsidies and guaranteeing over €750K in loans.
Regarding roads and public spaces, the CCVG has invested €2.4 million in the redevelopment of the Grande rue, the Clos Varissan sector, Bliesbruck street, and the church square.
“"The CCVG is proud to have contributed, alongside the municipality and Deux Fleuves Rhône Habitat, to the transformation of this historic heart of Millery and to the improvement of its inhabitants' living environment through enhanced, green, and more peaceful public spaces."
The district also includes a health center and a communal and associative hall set up in the Saint-Jean house.
