As part of the Detailed Preliminary Project studies for the French Section of Lyon-Turin, SNCF Réseau has launched an acoustic measurement campaign that will take place from September 28 to October 16, 2026.

The objective of this initiative is to establish a baseline of the current sound environment to inform the project's studies. A total of 55 acoustic measurements will be carried out, particularly near homes and road axes. These measurements will be supplemented by 30 traffic counts.
Affected property owners will be contacted in advance by the consulting firm CIA to inform them of the intervention. This campaign is a key step in the preparatory studies for the Lyon-Turin project.
