As of October 21st, the Museums of Vallons du Lyonnais now proudly display the state-issued Tourisme & Handicap label, acknowledging their efforts to make sites accessible to people with disabilities.

This national label, awarded individually to each site, confirms the initiatives undertaken to ensure adapted reception and full access to heritage discovery for everyone. The Communauté de communes - Vallons du Lyonnais has thus been recognized for its commitment.
Several museums within the community have received the distinction: the Musée Théâtre Guignol and the Maison du Blanchisseur-Musée are now accessible to individuals with motor, visual, auditory, and mental disabilities. The Musée Antoine Brun has obtained the label for motor, auditory, and mental handicaps.
To ensure an optimal visit, the museums offer amenities such as dedicated parking spaces, carefully designed pathways, visit booklets in Braille or large print, and sensory tours available upon request for groups.
