As part of a partnership between ENTPE and Keolis, a major public transport operator, the 13th session of the educational game 'Le K de Keolis' took place on October 20 and 21. Second-year engineering students specializing in Mobility – Transport participated in this tender exercise disguised as a business game.
The challenge posed to participants was to design a comprehensive, innovative, and competitive mobility offer for a fictional city, Ecocity, aiming to develop public transport, limit car usage, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Six teams developed their projects during an intense day held at Keolis's premises in the Tour InCity.
Three finalist teams presented their proposals to a jury of Keolis professionals. The students who designed the ZEPHYR network were congratulated.
The game was facilitated by Keolis executives, including Patrick NEDELEC, Tom BILOCQ, Gabriele CARPI, Céline NOBLET, Maxence PETIT, and Aurélie SOUCHON, all involved in recruitment, marketing, studies, or project management within the company.
Student feedback was highly positive, highlighting the interest and motivating nature of this professional simulation. They appreciated the opportunity to interact with industry experts and work collaboratively on various aspects such as route creation, marketing, finance, and transport planning.
This 13th edition underscores Keolis's strong and regular commitment to training future engineers and its interest in recruiting ENTPE graduates.
