INSA Lyon is implementing a Master Plan for Student Life (SDVE) for the next five years, covering the period 2026-2030. This strategic plan, developed based on student needs and proposals, aims to concretely enhance their experience at the institution.
The result of extensive consultation, including 1,143 questionnaire responses and 79 student interviews, the SDVE outlines 7 axes, 24 objectives, and 78 projects. Services dedicated to student life and the management team also contributed to its development.
Priorities focus on students' daily lives: facilitating reception and integration, particularly for international students, and improving campus life with access to quality food, enhanced residential living conditions, and dedicated spaces for work and social interaction.
Health and well-being are central to this roadmap, with objectives concerning access to care, risk prevention, combating precariousness, and preventing harassment, discrimination, and sexist/sexual violence.
The SDVE also aims to support student associations by assisting them, adapting their premises, promoting their activities, and enhancing event security. It also seeks to better recognize student engagement and facilitate participation in institutional bodies.
The implementation of these projects will be gradual, with indicators to track progress. The official launch is scheduled for November 5th at 1 PM, in the Jean Capelle amphitheater at INSA Lyon.
