A remarkable mobilization took place this Sunday in Saint-Éloy-les-Mines for « Mine en Rose », a day focused on solidarity, sharing, and the fight against cancer. More than 200 walkers participated in the « Découverte sur la mine » hike, in a friendly and intergenerational atmosphere, bringing together all ages to support the cause.
The afternoon featured various activities organized by Dynamik, La Joliphée, and Souvenirs et Patrimoine du Mineur, extending the day in a festive atmosphere. A refreshment stand and treats, including muffins from EHPAD La Louisiane de Pionsat, choux from Montmazot, and crêpes from Dynamik, were also available.
The City of Saint-Éloy-les-Mines expressed its deep gratitude to the partner associations and their volunteers — the Ligue contre le cancer, Jeune & Rose, Dynamik, La Joliphée, and Souvenirs et Patrimoine du Mineur — for their commitment. The administrative and technical services of the City, as well as sponsors like Combraille Habitat, Plastico Rototech, Carrefour Market, and Rockwool, were also thanked for their support and generosity.
Special thanks were extended to the numerous participants who walked, shared a meal, enjoyed the activities, or simply offered their support. This collective mobilization highlights the importance of solidarity at every age.
