The town of Romagnat is resuming development work on Rue de Laubize starting September 28, with completion expected by October 16. This phase will focus on turfing and preparation for planting, which will take place over the winter.
The project, which began in spring 2025, will conclude this autumn with the establishment of green spaces. Approximately a dozen trees, including field maple, Montpellier maple, and goldenrain tree, along with perennial and shrub beds, will be planted. These species were selected for their adaptability to climate change.
During the construction period, from September 28 to October 16, Rue de Laubize will be closed to traffic and parking between 8 AM and 5 PM. Access to the parking lots of the FLEP and the health center will be exclusively via Avenue Jean-Moulin. Traffic will be permitted during evenings and weekends. A detour will be in place and signposted.
