Throughout July and August 2026, the TE63 network recorded 8,122 charging sessions, delivering over 182,000 kWh. These figures represent a substantial progression compared to the previous summer.
Specifically, an additional 2,886 charges were completed, marking a 55% increase compared to the summer of 2025. This trend highlights the growing reliance on charging infrastructure, with the TE63 network now comprising 102 deployed stations across the territory.
The rise in usage is also reflected in the amount of energy distributed. Nearly an additional 60,000 kWh, a 48% increase, was delivered during the summer of 2026. This growth accompanies the rise in the number of charges and confirms the increasing use of the network for electric vehicle travel.
The ranking of the most utilized stations in July and August 2026 highlights several locations within the Sancy massif, particularly in Besse, Le Mont-Dore, and Murol. This high usage underscores the importance of charging infrastructure in the department's tourist areas, which experience particularly high traffic during the summer season.
An analysis of usage patterns reveals that roaming constitutes the majority of uses, surpassing anonymous charges made via credit card. This distribution indicates that TE63 stations not only serve local users but also accommodate drivers passing through or staying in the department.
Network usage experienced several peak periods over the summer. Following an initial surge in July, the highest level of activity was reached on August 7th, with 203 charges recorded in a single day across the entire Chargezy network. This day marked the peak usage for the entire 2026 summer season, illustrating the network's high demand in mid-summer.
