110 students from Polytech Clermont participated in a technical challenge proposed by Eiffage, focusing on concrete engineering and sustainable development issues.

As part of the sponsorship for the S3ER 2024-2027 promotion, Polytech Clermont organized a technical challenge in partnership with Eiffage. The event brought together 110 students from the S3ER (Embedded Systems, Electrical Energy and Robotics) and Physics Engineering programs.
Participants were faced with four major challenges: 'The Connected City', 'Decarbonizing and Transforming Industry', 'Maintenance and Energy Performance', and 'Construction Site Under Pressure: The Art of Managing Risks'. For two hours, teams analyzed real-world problems and developed innovative solutions.
The students' proposals were then presented to the regional management committee of Eiffage during 10-minute presentation sessions. This meeting also allowed for discussions about careers and professional opportunities within the group.
This experience was described as enriching for the future engineers, offering them practical application of their skills, teamwork, and immersion into the realities of the professional world. Eiffage was thanked for its commitment and the organization of this event.
