The Blue Week officially commenced on Friday, October 2nd, at the EHPAD des Orchis in Combronde, marking the start of a series of events for seniors in the Combrailles, Sioule et Morge intercommunal area.

The event was launched by Didier Manuby, 1st Vice-President of the intercommunal council responsible for social affairs and solidarity. To kick off the week, residents at the EHPAD enjoyed a session of adapted gym and an introduction to wood burning, both activities organized by the council's childhood and youth department.
The program continued on Monday, October 5th, at the intercommunal media library in Manzat with a dictation workshop. Led by the culture department, the event brought together about ten participants in a setting focused on memory, exchange, and conviviality.
Until October 10th, Blue Week continues to offer a variety of activities designed for seniors throughout the region. The schedule includes a music quiz, gentle aquagym, heritage walks, and creative workshops.
This initiative aims to enable seniors to discover or rediscover different activities, foster new encounters, and share convivial moments. The full program and practical information are available as an attachment on the intercommunal council's website.
