The month of October turns pink to symbolize the mobilization against breast cancer. In Châtel-Guyon, numerous events are planned, coordinated by the merchant group Cœur Economique and various clubs and associations, benefiting the organization Clermont en Rose.
The « Châtel En Rose » operation will kick off on Saturday, October 9th, with a concert by diva Fabienne Della Monica at the Sainte-Anne church at 8:30 PM. All proceeds will go to the fight against breast cancer. The ticket price is 10 euros. Tickets are available at the 'le Jack' tobacco shop, 'le Mimosa' bar, and the 'Boutique de Curiosités'.
On Saturday, October 17th, starting at 2:30 PM, the Pétanque Club of Châtel-Guyon will host a 100% women's doubles pétanque tournament at the Mouniaude cultural center. Sponsored by Angélique Colombet, a member of the French women's national team, the event will include a raffle with a signed jersey as a prize. The entry fee is €10 per doublette. The highlight of the mobilization will take place on Sunday, October 25th, on Place Brosson. From 10 AM to 1 PM, the Cœur Economique de Châtel-Guyon association has organized a day filled with shows and activities:
In parallel, volunteers from the association Tous en Scène will offer guided tours of the Theater, while the women's team of FC Châtel-Guyon will lead a sports course on-site. The association ChâtelRétromobile will also hold its annual rally for enthusiasts of vehicles from before 2000 (cars & motorcycles), at a rate of €10 per vehicle, starting at 10 AM. At 12:30 PM, everyone is invited to join a gathering to form a large human pink ribbon, which will be photographed by drone. Alongside these activities, children's entertainment and a prevention stand by Oasis des Dômes and Miss 63 will be available to support individuals living with cancer.
