During the autumn holidays, the Youth Center in La Talaudière is offering a rich and varied program for young people aged 11 to 17 years old. Two weeks of activities, workshops, and outdoor excursions are scheduled from October 19 to 30, 2026.
Registration for outdoor activities is mandatory and will take place on Wednesdays, October 7 and 14, as well as Fridays, October 9 and 15, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Youth Center. Parental presence is required for any new registration or annual membership of €5, valid from June 2026 to June 2027.
Open access is available in the morning between 10:00 AM and 10:30 AM until 12:00 PM. Young people can go home for lunch or use the on-site kitchen area. In the afternoon, access is from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM, except for outdoor excursions. Chips and sodas are prohibited; a snack and a water bottle are recommended.
The first week, from October 19 to 23, will include activities such as Halloween decoration, a giant naval battle, archery (registration required, 20 places), a cooking workshop (registration required, 6 places, +€2), introduction to card games, basketball, and tree climbing in Saint-Just-Saint-Rambert (registration required, 24 places), and a special Halloween Murder Party.
The second week, from October 26 to 30, will feature another cooking workshop (registration required, 6 places, +€2), decoration of the Le Sou cinema, karting in Saint-Étienne (registration required, 24 places), a Gaming tournament (Mario Kart, Just Dance, Stick Fight), activities on monsters and creatures at the Micro-Folie de La Talaudière (registration required), Pickleball, climbing in Saint-Étienne (registration required, 20 places), Halloween tastings and challenges, and an activity at the Museum (registration required, 12 places).
A Halloween film night is scheduled for Saturday, November 2 (Extra n°2, +€5). The annual membership for the Youth Center costs €5 and allows access to reduced rates via the STAS Card. Holiday vouchers are accepted.
