The municipality of Villette-de-Vienne is preparing to host its traditional Blue Week, from Sunday, October 4th to Sunday, October 11th. The event, organized by the town hall's Social Action Center (CCAS), promises a week of varied activities, meetings, and convivial moments for seniors.
The program begins on the morning of Sunday, October 4th, with a walk offered by the association Les Chemins de Villette, starting from the Salle polyvalente. The following day, Monday, October 5th, the Salle polyvalente will host several events: a pastry workshop led by L’Atelier de la Gourmande from 2 PM to 5 PM, followed by a gourmet snack at 5 PM. Both of these activities require prior registration at the town hall.
The afternoon of Monday, October 5th, will continue from 4:30 PM with the presence of the Ludomobile (mobile game library), also at the Salle polyvalente. On Tuesday, October 6th, the Villa Vermorel will host games and creative leisure activities starting at 2 PM, in partnership with the association Soleil d’Automne. On Wednesday, October 7th, an intergenerational coffee is scheduled for the morning at Place de la Poste.
The end of the week will also be lively: a writing workshop led by Edith Ruchon will take place on Thursday, October 8th, at the Maison des Associations (registration required). On Friday, October 9th, the Maison des Associations will be the meeting point for a singing session, 'Chantons ensemble' (Let's Sing Together), with the local choir, followed by a closing aperitif at 6 PM (registration required for both activities).
The week will conclude musically on Sunday, October 11th, with a dancing sauerkraut meal organized by the association Soleil d’Automne and animated by Phil Musette, which will take place at the Salle polyvalente.
